My favorite project I’ve done recently.
I'm a Management Information Systems student at Florida State University with a Computer Science minor, born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. I'm passionate about technology, problem-solving, and hands-on projects, always eager to learn something new. I love riding my bikes, building things, taking things apart, and getting my hands dirty.
Despite my business degree, I’ve always been drawn to computing. MIS is a good middle ground, but I tend to lean more technical. Right now, I'm actively working towards becoming a Linux System Administrator because I genuinely enjoy working with Linux and troubleshooting systems. Having a step-by-step plan toward systems administration has been really motivating. These are a lot of new topics that I didn’t really get the opportunity to learn while in college, but I’m taking the opportunity to learn now, my own way, through personal projects, certifications, and hands-on experience.
And about getting dirty… Over the past few years, I've come to love getting my hands and clothes covered in dirt and grime—it feels great after a day of sitting at my computer. Whether it's riding bikes, taking care of my car, or thinking up new projects, I've really enjoyed working with my hands. Learning by doing. It’s another fun way to keep me learning new things and feeling fulfilled.
